Easter Trip

I know its been months since I updated my blog but with working and such I've been so so busy. So here is a couple of catch-up posts with picture overloads! :D
For Easter we went to St. George to do a family trip with the Evans side of the family. And when I say that I mean my family. LOL. We went down and stayed with Brenda and Gary Carlile and family. We had a ball. The kids especially. We travelled downt he thursday before Easter, and didn't get there until around 5ish... I think. Anyways so we didn't really do much but catch-up with friends and played games.
Friday we went to the Coral pink Sand Dunes over on the other side of Kanab I think it was. We had to go around about way to get to them though, thru the poligamist town of Colorado City... which was weird. But it was awesome. We took a trailer up so we had a place to rest and cook dinner. The kids had a ball playing in the "big sandbox" as we called it. The adults rode 4-wheelers and we jumped them all over the place. Brenda and Gary have a side by side and in the back seat they have 5 point harnesses so the kids got to ride as well :D We only ended up with one minor accident all day. It was my parents and they weren't hurt but the 4-wheeler sure was. it had to be towed back to the campsite. We cooked a dutch oven dinner and then headed home for showers.
Saturday, the women and the men split up that day, and a few familys did as well. My dad, Gary, Isaiah, and my brother Jerrmey went on a trail ride. Me, Tara, Eden, Kaycee, Ciara (K's friend), and the kids went to the rec center in Washington City and went to the pool. My mom and Brenda stayed behind and relaxed at the house. Jason and Justin's familys went to the museum in St. George. But we all enjoyed our day. They did an Easter Egg hunt for the kids that evening as well.
Sunday we just got up and headed home. The kids did fairly well riding in the car too which was surprising :D
Here are all the pictures now if the post wasn't long enough :D

Update

So it's been like a month almost since I blogged last. I don't think I've gone that long in a while. So I thougt I'd update on life a little bit. Try to post some pictures either now or later since I think all the recent photos are on phones.

Well nothing new for Isaiah, still the same thing, working. They haven't changed him back to rotating shifts, so I'm praying the keep the one shift thing going. Cause I LOVE IT.

Riley is now in Primary! He had a hard time the first sunday. He wouldn't let go of me until he went to class. And now he's fine, still says he wants to go to Nursery but he doesn't go. I can't believe he's a sunbeam! Only a couple more months and he'll be 4! Crazy! But he's good. Christmas was fun for him. Santa brought him some cool toys! It was fun having him really understand and be excited about Santa. New Years he stayed up the whole time! Not surprising, my kids only go to bed cause I make them. Haha.

Kaylynn is 1 of 2 little kids in nursery. Yep, all but 2 of them graduated up to primary, and it's just her and another little girl named maddie. Today she was all alone. Sad, but I'm sure she still enjoys it. She really enjoyed Santa as well. So fun. And she also stayed up on new years. She tells me something new everyday that I've never heard her say before. She's getting so big TOO fast!

Both the kids are in daycare for about 5 hours 2-3 days a week. They do well with it. Some days it's harder for Kaylynn to go, but they really do well surprisingly.

I am working at The Nail Shoppe in Price. It's been great. I love it there. Plus I've been doing boutique parties on the side. So things are getting better for me. I've only had 1 really slow week, and I've got i think 5 stable clients or now. So a month in and 5 clients, no terrible right? My boss Pam is the best, she's been helping me learn new things too, I'm very grateful to her and her daughter Jill! They are great to work with and for. And last thursday I finally recieved my license, the actual paper in the mail. Took like a month! So now i can get those good discounts! :D

Christmas was spent at my parents, it was fun. The kids had a ball. New years was spent here in Price, with Isaiah's family. We played games almost all night long. :D Both the kids did great.

So far with it being almost 3 weeks into 2011 things have been better. I've set some attainable goals and resolutions. I stress the word ATTAINABLE. :D

I'm working at losing 50 lbs, and my attainable goal is 10 lbs a month til kaylynns 1st birthday. so it makes it much better.

Starting up the habit of writing in my journal and reading my scriptures every day. so far, not the best , but I'm getting there.

The most importnant on to me is going to the temple EVERY month!

I hope this year is better then the last and things just keep looking up!

Updates...on well everything!

oh life has been crazy over the last few weeks, I'm afraid my blogging has been neglected more so now then ever. Well maybe not ever but bad! I have posted about passing my boards, I sent off for my license 2 weeks ago and I have as of yet to get it in the mail ( THEY ARE SO SLOW! ) The same day I passed my written board I aquired a job! Yep just that fast! It has been wonderful. I got a job at The Nail Shoppe in Price. It's across from the fire station ( so far nothing exciting coming out of that place ). I LOVE it there. Pam the ower is such a great mentor. I am learning new things even coming out of school. Her daughter Jill also works there and she is a great person and I learn a lot from her as well. They have been great to work with. I don't have much of a clientel yet, so please spread the word!!

Isaiah doesn't have to work Christmas this year, thank goodness since we're heading to Duchesne tomorrow for it. I'm excited to see snow! Yeah it's rained here for the past 4 days, and they got over 2 feet in one day over there. 60 miles away is all. UGH

Riley and Kaylynn are now going to Daycare on the days that Isaiah and I both have to work. They are there for max of about 5 hours is all. They love it. They are doing so so much better at it then I thought they would. Kaylynn especially. They are both growing like crazy and getting smarter all the time.

I'm so grateful for this holiday time of year, it makes me stop to pause and see all the blessings I have in my life. For wonderful family and friends, a home, a new job and career. Things have just been wonderful. I put some pictures of the kids that are fairly recent! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I'm so proud of myself. And now I just submit my paperwork by mailing it in then waiting 2-4 weeks for the license to come! I got a job at The Nail Shoppe also in Price and I start next tuesday! I'm so excited it's going to be great!

I PASSED!

It is official! I PASSED the state board practical nail tech exam! I'm so proud of myself and the other 2 ladies who went with me! They passed as well and we all got the same score! LOL That tells me our instructor must be consistant! LOL. Now that that part is over with I have to finish my hours and work on getting ready for the written exam. Hopefully I'll pass that one too. So far with the practice exam workbook I'm at an 84% and you have to get a 75% to pass. On the practical it just said that I got 83 points. 83/100 I think, I would guess. So not too shabby, only problem is they don't tell you what you messed up on, but I can guess quite a few things I messed up on! It was nerve wracking! But I'm glad it's over! YAY FOR ME!

Big day!

Well things have been going well overall for most everything lately. I go to take my state board practical exam next tuesday, I still have to schedule my theory test, but I'm so so nervous. It's not hard but nerve wracking to follow the right steps! I'm over 200 hours now so thats why I can go test, but I still have to do my 300 to be finished! It's gone by extremely fast!

The kids are doing pretty good. Riley had the stomach flu this last week, but luckily it was only a 24 bug. No one else has gotten it, thank goodness. Kaylynn is cutting teeth so she's not feeling the best but she's okay. Isaiah works Thanksgiving this year, but not christmas, so it's alright. We're spending Thanksgiving with Kara and Clint, Isaiah's parents went to Texas to spend it with his sister Sarah.

So overall things are good. Just gearing up for the holidays :D

We haen't done gels on hands yet but I think I figured it out anyway :D Things have been great and I've really enjoyed things.
